Broadband Stakeholder Group

The Broadband Stakeholder Group is the industry-government forum tackling strategic issues across the converging value chain. Its members comprise players from across telecoms, media, technology and content industries, and provides a forum to discuss and resolve key challenges facing UK plc. One of these challenges is how to regulate digital media in a world where consumers are no longer passive recipients of content and information.

The debate emerging between industry, government and the regulator, Ofcom, increasingly suggests that the promotion of media literacy, coupled with self- and co-regulatory schemes, is the most effective and efficient approach, and so BSG is pleased to work with MLTF.
